Snickerdoodle Martini

I don’t drink creamy, dessert martinis often, but when I do, I say go big or go home. Ha! This snickerdoodle martini is everything a dessert martini should be: sweet (in a good way), decadent, with a great flavor. If you love snickerdoodle cookies or vodka (raises hand), then you’ve got to make this!

I like to make this snickerdoodle martini with heavy whipping cream. You know, the stuff you use to make whipped cream with. 🙂 Again, when I’m in the mood for a dessert martini, I’m not messing around.

But that being said, you could totally use half and half, whole milk, or even something non-dairy like coconut milk or soy milk if you prefer. It may change the flavor slightly (especially if you use coconut milk), but the result will still be totally delicious.

You could easily shake up two of these at once to enjoy with a guest or significant other. And I love to garnish with a little bit of cinnamon sprinkled over the top and Anise if you’ve got it. I LOVE the smell of anise, but it’s optional if you find it’s not readily available where you live. Cheers! xo. Emma

Snickerdoodle Martini

Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 2 ounces heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ounce amaretto
  • 1/2 ounce cinnamon schnapps

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add ice and all the ingredients. Shake well until the shaker becomes very cold in your hand. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. Add anise if desired.

Recipe Notes

You can swap out the heavy whipping cream for a lighter dairy option (like whole milk) or a non-dairy option if you need. I think soy milk or coconut milk would work well.
