Are you a fan of spicy? My husband and I both enjoy spicy foods but our standard for what we consider "spicy" is, um, VERY different. He likes his drinks so spicy that they're almost dangerous. I prefer a little kick. This recipe can be customized from mild to medium to "knock your socks off"!Sriracha Bloody Mary, serves one bloody mary mix
2 ounces vodka
Worcestershire sauce
Sriracha
Lime
Liquid Smoke
In a tall glass, mix bloody mary mix, vodka, a splash of worcestershire sauce, juice of half a lime and two drops of liquid smoke. For a mild spice add 1/2 teaspoon sriracha, for a medium spice add 1 teaspoon sriracha and for something very spicy add 2 teaspoons (or more if you're a crazy person, like my guy). Enjoy!I'm a recent bloody mary convert. I used to think it wasn't my jam, but after sampling so many of Jeremy's at restaurants I've become a fan. My favorites are the versions with unique flavors. What's your favorite brunch cocktail? xo. Elsie
PS. Don't drink? Bloody Marys are one of the easiest and best drinks to turn into a mocktail by simply omitting the vodka. Think of it as a tricked out glass of tomato juice! 😉

Ooh this sounds tasty!
Zing Zang is absolutely the best bloody mary mix. Add in some sriracha and you’ve got an amazing cocktail. Thanks for sharing this.
I love spicy! But I’ve been a little too hesitant to ever try a bloody mary! Crazy, right?! These pictures are just too pretty that I might have to try one tonight! 😉

i used to think bloody marys and i were enemies…i’d only tried 2 or 3 and they were just so gross to me. and in the past year, something has changed and now i absolutely love them! especially the spicy ones, so i fully support this sriracha mix!
Im definitely no fan of Bloody Mary cocktails! I don’t think you can ever beat a mojito 😉

Yum! I love a good Bloody Mary and bet the Sri Racha is a great addition! I’m planning on whipping up a good batch in another month or so once my pickled okra has had some time to get awesome!

I think I eat an ungodly amount of sriracha DAILY! Every piece of food is sometimes just a vessel for the sriracha. Thanks for giving my additional another opportunity.

I’m not a Bloody Mary drinker myself but I have some friends who are really into it, might make one of these for them 🙂
Yum!!
I’ve never actually tried a Bloody Mary, it’s always kind of scared me, cause I don’t know if I’ll like it. I always tend to stay safe and go for a mojito or something… But this does look nice 🙂
Oh hell yeah, sriracha makes everything better! I like my bloodies with tequila (a maria, if you will) and with loads of horseradish, so much that it almost stuffs up the straw.
Love this!
Try switching gin for the vodka, it will change your life 🙂
me oh my.. yep, this looks grand!
xx
My gosh, this looks awesome.
I´m totally boring – I prefer to drink tea, because normally I don´t drink alcohol 😉

This sounds delicious! I used to HATE bloody mary’s, but then I had a really good perfectly seasoned one and I was sold. They’re so great. I love when they come with pickled okra. But they definitely need some spice, and worcestershire sauce for sure!
This post just blew my mind. Bloody Marys are my favorite drinks but I never thought of adding Sriracha or liquid smoke. Love it.

I don’t really care for spicy, but my hubby would love this 🙂 I will have to share this recipe with him.

Nothin’ better to “clear the pipes” after a fun night out! Thanks!!

In Canada we call Bloody Mary’s Caesar. I can have one or two, but they’re not really a “drink a pitcher to myself” kinda drink!
I looove Sriracha so I might just have to try this out! I wonder what they’re called in Australia…
Great recipe! I’ve never tried to make one for myself, but I need to change that. These are good anytime of day, right…lol!

I’m down!! But I would probably throw in olives and onions… Total yumminess!!!!

Yum! We normally spice ours with Tabasco but Im going to have to give the Sriracha a try next time! Sounds delish!
This is almost like a Caesar (It’s a super yummy Canadian drink)
Mmmm, I LOVE me some sriracha!
I think you ladies should do a cocktail book next! I’m adoring your photo book. You two are so inspiring!
ohhh, yeah! I love those bloody mary’s and I am definitely gonna try to Sricha in my next mix.

I know what I’m drinking this weekend! Well, with Gin at least, seems to give me less of a hangover than vodka.

I love a good Bloody Mary.
We don’t really have the pre-mixes in South Africa but that’s ok, we get creative anyway
The salt around the rim is such a nice touch!

As much as I love tomato juice (or some types of alcohol), I don’t think I could ever drink a bloody Mary, I’d go for the non alcoholic version!

I LOVE sriracha. Definitely need to try this!

this looks amazing 🙂
Picture #1 is so nice! Love putting fome sriracha in my bloody mary!

Zing Zang rocks…no preservatives or partially hydrogenated junk 🙂
This is the best idea! Last time I went out for ceasars (the Canadian version of a Bloody Mary) it tasted , it tasted like they put barbeque sauce in it and it was awful. Sriracha would have been so much better!

Liquid smoke…never heard of it.
So I am wondering now, could you use a pinch of smoked paprika?
Yeah, I’m still not a convert, but I know plenty of people who won’t drink anything else. Definitely passing this recipe along, thank you!! – Leith

Ooooo! I say! This looks fantastic! You are cocktail queens!
My fav twist on a Bloody Mary is using soy sauce (or Tamari) and a little bit of wasabi powder! It’s delish!!!
Bloody Mary’s and Caesars were made for Sundays!! I’m trying this out on Sunday for sure!

In Canada we still have Bloody Mary’s, but we also have Caesars which have clam juice added. Bloody Mary’s are so easy to customize and build to taste…mmmm.
to clarify Becky’s post-
We Canadians enjoy both the bloody mary and Ceasers- if we can convince you to try clam juice in your mary, you will be changed for life!
*promise!*
in every grocery store, you can find Mott’s Clamato, which is tomato juice with clam, Worcestershire, etc and it even comes in spicy.
Celery, green bean or pickle? oh my!
with love, jenny o. from Toronto
I always hated Bloody Marys. I finally had a good one a couple of months ago. I’m going to have to try this recipe.

Great Website. You must think a little more about RSS Feeds being a traffic origin. They bring us a nice amount of traffic
I also think bloody mary it’s not my thing, but actually I never tried it… I think i’ll give it a shot
Thank you for the inspiration!!! http://doriannn.blogspot.fr/2013/08/fin-dete-faire-le-bonheur-du-pingouin.html
