I don't usually blog about random inspiration these days, but this new colletion from Wildfox was too good not to share. The collection is called Star Crossed Lovers and it's due out Fall 2012. The 90s in me went a little crazy when I first saw this shoot. I love the Romeo and Juliet themes. The whole photo shoot is sickeningly inspiring and that hoodie will be mine. XO. elsie PS. I’ve definitely been inspired by the early 90’s recently! I wasn’t allowed to really wear whatever I wanted until high school (late 90’s) & I missed out on getting to tie my button up shirts in the front- I’ve honestly probably been doing it a little too much now!
I <3 the 90s; Romeo + Juliet is still one of my favorite movies. Claire Danes was so classic. This collection is so much fun! I especially love the throwback shot with the guy dressed in armor. He even looks like a young Leo in that pic. So excited Baz Luhrmann made the new Gatsby! Can't wait!
I’m a 90’s child so I’d be perfectly fine with it 🙂 Although I’m not a fan of the plastic choker bracelet in the last picture… please don’t come back in style!!
I fall hard for new 90’s inspired fashion. Ditsy florals, plaid, corduroy, and Dr. Martens! I never like the fashion in the 90’s, but it holds so much nostalgia now, and memories of times that were both more and less complicated. 🙂
I knew there’s a reason I kept the sewing patterns from when I was a teen. Such inspirational pics. I can see my entire wardrobe reverting to long flowery skirts and hoodies this fall.
Nothing beats the 90’s…throw on a vintage floral dress, some doc’s and the Muffs as my soundtrack and I’m set, oh…wait a minute…that’s what I do every day 🙂

I get a little freaked out (and old-feeling) when the 90s starts getting described as ‘vintage’. But recently I have been enjoying the 90s resurgance.
It’s been so wet here in the UK that I’ve been living in my Doc Martens (something I longed for but could never afford as a teenager in the late 90s). Last week I teamed them up with a check skirt, slouchy jumper and denim jacket. My hair is pretty much a big 90s wavy mess anyway, so I decided to just go with it and say I was channeling My So Called Life.
Ok I freakin LOVE the 90’s and honestly that’s something I never thought I’d say. Romeo and Juliet with Leo and Claire was my fave back in the day…this shoot is amazing.
OMG. I totally agree! I just overheard a conversation of someone talking about the brand and had to check it out! (I mean, if I was up on my California game, I should know this) but the themes and collections are SO cute! I just ordered this seasons hoodie with a “to do” list on the back. Could it be any cuter?!
