So, this shirt is my husband's. I stole it from his closet and I love it! I grew up sneaking my dad's cool vintage band t-shirts to wear to school. Sometimes it's fun to incorporate a little bit of menswear into an outfit. What mens pieces do you love to wear?
Outfit Details: Blazer and shirt/J.Crew, Necklace c/o Shlomit Ofir, Bangle/Vintage, Jeans/American Eagle, Shoes c/o Seychelles. XO.

I used to always steal my brother’s t-shirts when I was little. And now I borrow my boyfriend’s big jumpers on a regular basis – they are perfect for feeling cosy in the winter.

I love that shirt, I wonder if I could also pull off a similar look!
I usually steal shirts from my father’s closet π I use them for my DIY projetcs, modify them according to my style and they look really great, unfortunately daddy has fewer shirts day by day π

I LOVE men’s cardigans and aviators. π
I have my dad’s old Argyle pattern sweater from the 70s. I love it!
Love it! What a fun shake-up from your usual outfits! π
My step dad had all these floral patterned shirts that he didn’t want anymore, so he gave them to me! They rock if I wear them with skinnies and belt them!
I also have bought men’s graphic t’s from H&M before, I just think their designs are WAY cooler because they’re not trying to be girly or sparkly or anything with their prints.

cute!
I love mens clothing; oversized flannels and plaid button-ups. But everytime I wear them they seem kind of shapeless and masculine. Any tips for styling oversized mens shirts??
xo,
jessie

I never incorporated my boyfriend’s clothes in an actual outfit but I am always stealing his hoodies and sweaters for the home just because they are so comfy!!
I love to wear David’s hoodie, especially after he wore it and it smells of him π
I love your shoes.
I love wearing men’s watches. I would take my father’s watches all the time and wear time. He has a gold one that was my favorite, it belongs to my grandfather before my dad got it.

I can’t wait to have a husband to steal clothes from. π
Then again, I should probably start dating again before I get carried away! π
This caught my attention because I had to spend the night at my parents’ house last night due to some baby issues. I raided my brother’s closet to find a very similar shirt to wear today π

I have three older brothers and would snag their button-down shirts as they grew out of them. They always looked great with a pair of capris and flip-flops, a`la Doris Day in Glass Bottom Boat. Now I’m always taking my hubby’s wooly Lands End sweater – perfect for chilly autumn days.
Such a great idea π I once borrowed mu boyfriends belt (and now it’s mine forever – the belt, ofcourse :D) and I guess maybe I’ll borrow some shirt next time π
You looked great!
have you ever heard about this trend ,,boyfriend jeans”? Maybe it will also inspire you π
Love it! I always still the BFs clothes, they just look better x

I used to steal my dad’s wool suit pants from the 70s!

I would steal all of boyfriends dress shirts, except I drown in them. Doesn’t help that I’m 5’1 and he’s 6’2 π
You on the other hand, look amazing in your husbands shirt! I love the feminine way you’ve dressed up a mens item.

Ironically, I’m also wearing my husband’s shirt to wear to work today! I paired his chunky gray H&M sweater with my skinny navy cords and brown boots. Put on a pair of nice earrings and a scarf, and the outfit is all girlied up π

my husband has a bigger build than i do, but I do have a couple of my dad’s vintage shirts. my favorite is a red velvet(not the store)corduroy jacket that my dad got from London, England in the 70’s. I’ve been wearing it since high school and I always get compliments on it.
I have always loved men’s sweaters! Especially vintage ones! They are so comfy over a pair of skinny jeans. I used to steal my brother’s and my boyfriend’s sweaters, but now I head to my local vintage shops and search for reasonably-sized and crazy-comfortable man sweaters!
The thing I haven’t ever been able to figure out though is boyfriend jeans.
I used to absolutely live in an old pinstripe shirt of my dads. & I often wear my boyfriends jumpers that he’s shrunk!
Saw your feature in Molli Makes today, well done to you & Emma π
It’s not vintage but I stole my boyfriends plain black sweater and its the snuggliest thing in the whole world!

I lOVE those glasses!

I entered a new era of my life when I started to wear my father’s brown leatherjacketform the 70-ties at 16! Now I have so much more clothes than my husband I do not have the hart to take hi’s hehe!
Sometimes I wear his jeans and I like to sleep in his soft t-shirts, but button downs are definitely my favorite thing to steel. I love that Gingham one on you!
i stole a pair of my Dad’s old cowboy boots and get SO many compliments on them. they’ve one of my favorite pieces of footwear!
Oh how I love this!!! Those oxfords are fabulous. I need me some. π

My boyfriend FINALLY gave me this awesome geometric sweater I bought for him (secretly wanting it myself). He said he just can’t pull it off. I think he looks great in it but regardless, at least it’s making one of us warm!
I’m too tiny and he is too big to steal any item from my partner’s closet. But cute idea!

I wish I had a stylish man to steal clothes from, ha! I love my husband to death but unless I want to wear basketball shorts and sports tees, I wouldn’t wear any of his clothes. π That shirt looks perfect on you!
Borrow menswear is always a nice idea. I really like to pair feminine garments with men’s clothes. It’s a good mix. I love your glasses too, they’re really original.
haha this is soooooo cute Elsie! I have such a feminine wardrobe I don’t know how I would incorporate a piece of my boyfriend’s clothing, but then again I just want to do it for fun now! x
Men’s button-ups are the best! I love to steal them from my husband, as you can see in this outfit post!

I love how, paired with skinny jeans and a chunky watch, menswear shirts can be super feminine!
Im always stealing shirts-especially button ups and band-tee’s. Mostly from my boyfriend-they smell like him and it’s rather comforting if times ever get rough.(: He smells like home. I sometimes walk around in boxers too-but I would never ever even consider stealing those haha

I’ve stolen so many T-shirts from boyfriends over the years and sewn them down to be skinni-fit on me…
I love this outfit! One of your best lately for sure!
http://thestardustsunrise.blogspot.com/
oxfords! I have these adorable flat burgundy oxfords and they are fun to match with something uber feminine like floral or lace. Thrift stores have the best range of these π
Unfortunately my boyfriend is a lot taller than me so his cool blazers don’t fit me at all! I’ll steal the occasional tshirt, but that’s pretty much it. Oh, and his hoodies, I love his comfy, over-sized hoodies.
I love wearing my boyfriend’s knitted cardigans and his plaid shirt π
Just Came To Say ‘Hello’
I bought a nearly identical shirt from the men’s section of Lands End Canvas.
It’s the way to go.

I love stealing from the boys! My boyfriend loves it too.
This is such a great, classic look, but the pattern on the shirt keeps it looking interesting. I’m guilty of stealing my dad’s oversized (on me) sweaters and band tees, too. It doesn’t make him too happy, but it certainly makes my outfit. π

The things I wish I could do…When I steal I can prob wear it as a dress lol

Great outfit, wished I could wear some of my Hubby’s stuff, but he’s 6’2″ and I’m 5′. I swim in all of his clothes. Gosh darnit!
Where are your glasses from? I love the clear frames.
my boyfriend is in the Air Force and he was home on leave a couple days ago. Since he left I have stolen all of his too small band tshirts he used to wear when I first met him and I have been wearing those all week. they remind me of him and that is always nice…

my hubby is tall with a long torso….and I’m only 5’5″. so pretty much he gets to keep all his clothing safely in his side of the closet.

the cousin said, these are nothing when he was working in the online purchase, cousin said, and now things online is really very good, very reasonable price, good quality, but can also save yourself a lot of time and money.
