Football_cupcake [source]

fun fact: this is our third ‘Super Bowl Sunday’ as a dating couple and we’ve still never watched the Super Bowl… we didn’t even know it was on today. oops πŸ™‚

Football themed cupcakes for everyone! XO. elsie

  • all you need is a little gold to complement your tasty treat! GEAUX SAINTS!!!! (from a new orleans gal who likes your blog). xoxo

  • My husband and I don’t watch our australian footy grand final. We always say we will….but it’s so loooooong. I can’t waste all that good crochet time!

  • The best thing about the superbowl are the commericials, the food, being with friends and family, and running our mouths while the superbowl is on. I am post surgical this weekend so not much partying for me!

  • I agree with the new orleans girl a little gold and black is all you need.

  • I don’t follow football at all. I found out who’s playing and I just randomly picked a team to win. Not based on stats or anything. I really don’t care for it but I LOOOVE the puppy bowl with it’s kitty halftime…*SQUEE*

  • We don’t watch it either..my boyfriend isn’t into sports πŸ™‚ I did make cookies for my family who are watching it. I’m with Alli, prefer the puppy bowl! ha ha!

  • haha, no joke. when we actually realized it was superbowl sunday we had to google who was playing, and what city the Colts were from. who knew. πŸ˜›

  • haha! i forgot too until my local cupcake shop sent me an e-mail that said “our cupcakes may be the perfect addition to your super bowl party, or the perfect alternative!” hahaha. love it.

  • Hahah, I didn’t even know it was today, either! I did find out that it was the Puppybowl, though. Probably still won’t watch that πŸ˜›

  • i knew, but not until this past friday because they were talking about it on the radio. lol i like how there are people just as apathetic about it as i am.

  • YAAAYYY!!!! Congrats on your win, Elsie…you totally deserve it! So thrilled to see my two favourite blogs and bloggers win these awards. Doing a happy dance for you πŸ™‚

  • i kinda forgot to until i got to church and my girl mariah was singing on stage in a colts jearsey πŸ™‚
jeremy doesn’t look the football watching type… most musicians arent.

    xo.

  • That cupcake is some serious cute juice!

I’ve never payed attention to football either, but since I’m from/live in New Orleans, I think I would get shunned if I didn’t this time around. So exciting! Geaux Saints!

  • girlie,

I am with you on the super bowl!! I only watch it for the half-time shows…if I can even remember it’s on!

    Happy Sunday

    xo

  • I don’t think I’ve ever watched the Superbowl (or any football game), but I was really upset that I had to work during the Puppy Bowl!!

  • HAha.. my roommate and I went to a Superbowl party with people who did care about the game- which is always interesting. We would wait for someone cheering for the Colts to start cheering so we knew we could cheer too (My family knows the family of Peyton Manning, hence the pulling for the Colts.) Oh football.. not my thing. : )
I love the cupcake, by the way.

  • I wasn’t too interested in this year’s Super Bowl, though I usually watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. I’m a little more invested as last year I worked for a company that produced some models for Super Bowl commercials. We did the Cash For Gold commercial last year with MC Hammer and Ed McMahon. This year, they did some model sets for the Denny’s commercial talking about how the chickens need to be warned. Not as good as last year’s commercials, but still fun.

  • Hubby and I have been together now for 5 years and have honestly never watched the superbowl. We have an annual date for the Puppybowl on Animal Planet!!! And we both smile and giggle the WHOLE time! I love it.

  • Thank you! I thought my husband and I might be the only one! We actually recorded the game just so we could watch the half time show. It was The Who and one of my hubby’s faves. We fast forwarded through the game and watched some commercials! But those were even bad! Thanks for not making us feel so alone:)

  • Ha! I had no idea that the Super Bowl happened until today. I don’t know anything about football, but I sure do like watching my friends and family that like it get so excited over it!

  • these look so yummy, but then again this is a biased reaction, cause i love cupcakes. i’m not really a football watcher, but i am slowly getting into it. it was a great game and i enjoyed it even more after finding out it was the saints first win
