The Flintstones Halloween Costume

WILMAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I must confess … I have always wanted to do a The Flintstones Halloween costume! I LOVE the Flintstones (and The Jetsons—maybe that will be next year?) and I knew Nova would be the cutest Pebbles EVER.

I mean, look at that pose. Haha!

Here’s a quick rundown of our costume links:
Wilma costume – OK, so this costume is only $20 and it comes with the dress, necklace and “wig.” As you can see from these pics, the “wig” only has one good angle so it’s really for photos, not for every angle. If I was wearing this for a party, I would probably just use the poser paste (what we used on Nova’s hair) on my own hair and spend more time stying it.

They also make a Fred + Wilma set.

Pebbles costume – This costume is handmade and great quality. I ordered her size 18-24 months because that was the largest they had (she currently wears a 3t, but it’s pretty flexible). Here’s another option if you’re thinking of one with a wig. And here’s a link to the bone hair barrettes.

For Nova’s hair, we used Good Dye Young Poser Paste in the color Riot. It’s a clean beauty product, and is naturally scented. It comes out in one wash and is totally temporary (my mom immediately texted me, “IS IT PERMANENT?” haha).

In case you are curious, yes, Nova was VERY into herself with the orange hair. Foreshadowing for her pre-teen years, I am sure!
