Well…. This is the week! I've planned and planned and it's finally all about to happen. Our out-of-town guests start arriving in just a few days. We have lots of parties and events planned surrounding the big day. This morning I packed up all the gifts for the rehearsal dinner… It's feeling really really real. I feel peaceful and happy right now. I just want to enjoy this entire week. We've been looking forward to it for so long. We will get to see some friends who we haven't seen in a long time. I'll get to wear the prettiest dress and marry my very best friend. Every little detail that I've spent all these months planning out is actually going to happen…. I'm so excited. Just going to soak it in.
A quick note about what to expect on the blog…
Several people have asked if I'll be taking a blog break for the wedding & honeymoon. Starting this Tuesday I will have a guest blog every single day until the end of the month. This will take the "pressure" off of me and keep the blog super full of pretty things, DIY projects and special treats from guest bloggers that I admire. That said, I will absolutely still be blogging. I plan to pop in at random and post wedding and honeymoon photos… not a full recap (quite yet), but enough little peeks to keep you smiling! Soaking it all in is an absolute must!! Someone told me before I got married that I had to keep stepping back and looking on my wedding day to make sure I was taking it all in and feeling how loved we were, and you know what? I did just that, and I can tell you, it’s pretty overwhelming to know that all the people at there for you and your love and that they love you. It’s them that make the day special. And another word of advice – if it’s not done on the day, it’s not going to get done, so don’t let last minute hiccups spoil your day because you will love it regardless.
