I think the PUBLIC M8 in Orange would be so cute to ride around town with. It has such a charming frame, and the color would add such personality to it compared to all the standard bikes you see from Walmart or where ever. Definitely see myself riding on one. I just fell in LOVE with the “Creamcycle” bike! It’s so beautiful, fun, adventurous!
It would be so awesome to have a bicycle again…I had a red one several years ago, and I rode it every day to-and-from work. One day, while out on a pleasure ride, pieces started to fall off along the path- and pretty soon the whole thing was inoperable. I wish I could have fixed it- but it was old and “its time had come.”

Oh my goodness that Rivoli bike is the nicest bicycle i have ever seen! I have always wanted a bicycle in that style, but there is no way I could ever afford it – thank you University fees. And the white with bamboo? I think if it is possible I have fallen in love with an inanimate object!

I am a bike commuter and next week is national ride your bike to school/work week, so I find this post very suiting!
Having worked for a C-3 non-profit out of Seattle called Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation and being a league certified biking instructor I have taught many kids and adults how to ride safely on the road. One of the key elements to riding safely is a helmet.(I know we are all guilty of riding sans a helmet from time-to-time.) I think one of the BIGGEST reasons people don’t like helmets is because they are ugly–no joke. PUBLIC has some super steezy all-sport/biking helmets that will encourage people to wear a helmet–that’s major! I would love to sport the Pixie Stix Helmet size S-M on my noggin’.

It reminds me of my childhood bicycle and how I used to love ringing a bell before I turned the corner to my friends’ house to let them know I was coming. The practicality of a little bell like that is limited, but it makes such a sweet little sound that will always connect you to those old summer nights that felt like the earth stopped spinning and you could ride on forever. I especially like this one in brass because while it is a subtle color, it is also classic and sophisticated.

Since I am attending university by the beach this coming year (Long Beach!), I need to buy a bike. When I was a kid I remember getting my first bike because I was promoted into the third grade. It was a really big deal for me to get a bike! The thing that I remember that I loved the most about that bike was the Mickey Mouse bell that my dad agreed to add on after I begged and pleaded! I remembered this from viewing the red Frederico bell on the site. I would love to go back to that day again!!!!

My bike was stolen last Summer, which has been sort of a bummer, given I’ve had to ride my dad’s bike that is way too tall for me and can’t be adjusted to my height. Being a poor college student, it can be difficult to save up for a brand new bike, too.
With that in mind, I’d love nothing more than to be able to ride the orange Standard Public C7 bike on this website. The step-through seat is perfect for both my height and fashion (I tend to wear a lot of dresses), and the type is perfect for my sort of day-to-day errands and going to school.

I haven’t owned a bike since I was a kid, and recently my fiance and I moved into the city from a small, rural farm town. I’ve been itching to get a bike since the big move, and this one is my favorite because it reminds me of our trip to Denmark last year.
