Hi there! Not much time to chat today… we've got a book due this week! We're making so much progress, but it will be morning to night work days for most of this coming week. It's crunch time, for sure! We're trying to think of a fun way to celebrate next weekend after it's turned in. Open to ideas… Here are a few snapshots from our week. xo, elsie + emma
PS. Our white saltwater sandals from the first photo are c/o ModCloth.

I’d say buy yourselves something sort of expensive for the new studio. Something you haven’t been able to justify just yet… I know that gifts or sweet treats or special trips are my favorite way to celebrate my hard work.
Oh, I am so proud of you girls. I have been following along since mid 2010 and watching the progress you have both made has been phenomenal! I am so excited for you and cannot wait to see the book. When our little family travels from Australia to the US next year, I told my husband that we must stop in and say hello 🙂
Big loves to you all,
Toni xo
Good luck finishing up! Lovely photos 🙂

So proud of you girls! What an amazing accomplishment this will be! And I would say celebrate with potluck…lots of close friends and family, and good food!
It is so cool that you are writing a book! I hope to do that someday, but it’s quite another thing to actually make that happen! Well done!! 😀
I don’t know if you’re thinking big or small celebration, but my favorite part of the state of Missouri is the St. Louis City Museum! You probably know it already, but it’s like a giant playground for adults and kids alike. You could do a fun overnight and play tourist. Congrats on the book!
Exciting! Good luck with your book – sounds brilliant!
You should celebrate with some cupcakes and bubble tea for sure!
Have fun!
Love

Nail polish color with the white sandals?? You should get in the habit of always telling us the color names/brands, because it seems like every single one you wear I love!
I’m thinking about getting those sandals. Did you order them online? I’m a 7 1/2 but tem only do 7 or 8. Any recommendations?
good luck with all your work!
I’m loving this series.
Fab job girls. Your posts inspire my days. Maybe you can mix & match your celebrations with us Brits & do a Jubilee theme “knees up”!
love the sandals!

so excited about your book! i’m excited for your accomplishment and also to see the book!
Yay for almost being done with the book! Y’all have been working so hard, and I;m sure it will pay off.
Weird question; do you find that the saltwater flats have good arch support? I’ve been seeing them everywhere and they’re so cute, but I have all sorts of foot problems and can only usually wear (ugly, ugh) “supportive” shoes.
Hi to all, how is the whole thing, I think every one is getting more from this web page.
This is so cute! I love it so much.
