I also wanted to say thank you SO VERY MUCH for posting your business tips below. I have learnt more from your one blog post about starting up a small online creative business of my own than I have in 18 months of Etsy newsletters and online research. They are seriously wonderful and you are so lovely to share them with us all 🙂
I am an older version of you too (34) and am unable to work in my original chosen profession because of side effects from the medication that I have to take for a medical condition. Luckily I am artistic so have something to fall back on. I have had the dream of starting up my own creative business online for a few years now. I have been planning, planning, and planning! I thought I was ready to start late last year and rushed into it, but wasn’t happy with how I was managing it or my product, so I have gone back to the drawing board. I am in planning mode still…slowly getting together an inventory and learning more about keeping business records and business tax (ugh!) before I start again. My business will be so much better off for it in the long run!
Thank you for helping me to stay inspired to keep working at it. You are a treasure 🙂
