Today I wore a vintage velvet dress from the 90s, Knock Your Socks Off Heel courtesy of ModCloth (they're so pretty in person… i die!), handmade gold necklace by me, black swiss dots tights and a houndstooth turban headband (lots of colors coming to my shop on February 1st!). Happy Tuesday.♥ elsie

Shoot, are the 90s really vintage now? That is so weird to think. I wore a dress like that to the homecoming dance my freshman year in 2000. I was slightly behind the times, I guess.
I’m sitting here wearing the exact same dress in black! I thrifted it, and it’s so fun to wear. I feel like an ice skater!

I have this same dress in black. I definitely recall wearing it with similar granny shoes in the early 90s, but they weren’t awesome and glittery like yours.
