BEHOLD! My favorite handmade ornament of the season by Aesthetic Outburst. It's cute, chic and black and white (a favorite winter color combo!).
hello there! i'm back with another ultra cute D.I.Y. round up! First up, this adorable Faux Bois Fridge by my tackiest cute little blog pal.β₯
this super sweet bow tie tutorial by Polly.
I found this article on collecting and caring for vintage vinyl by Jill of Lune very helpful! Mr. Larson and I have a pretty magical vinyl collection that's equally composed of new and vintage. Such a fun thing to collect! I agree with Jill that's it's better done slow and steady. More fun! Last Christmas Mr. Larson found a bunch of amazing Queen and David Bowie records for me.

Ah gorgeous! I love the Christmas ornament.
Me and the Mister have an incredible vinyl collection. It’s our pride and joy. We have a huge vintage player and always put on a record when we have company. It’s super wonderful.

The Christmas ornament is so cute! Also, that fridge is awesome. It is most definitely both delightful and tacky. In. Love.

Agh, christmas combined with crafts is just perfection!
I love Bowie too – but partly because of my crush on him as Jarrod in labyrinth. I totally wasn’t confused by his androgyny (although it’s hard to mistake that package in those tights). I’m jealous of your bowie elsie.
I’m loving the DIY! (Even if I probably won’t do even a small percentage of them, LOL!)

this is a wonderful idea, elsie. xoxo
Love the ornament and the bow – thanks for sharing elsie!! π

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
cool! thanks for the link to Lune re the vinyl. Hubby has a huge collection which grows every week, but I’m interested as I collect vintage soundtracks too π x
Wow, I just got rid of a ton of my old albums and my stereo. Didn’t know people still wanted those things.
I am new to your blog and I enjoy reading it. Would love to see your store. I saw an interesting owl in one of your pictures. I collect owls.

I absolutely love that first ornament. It makes me want to start collecting glass ornaments and decorating them myself like that. And then have a tree of just those ornaments. Goodness!
Polly’s bow tie DIY is sweet! And love the tacky fridge makeover too! Tacky is good π Thanks for sharing!

I’m loving that adorable bow tie! Fun, eclectic DIY round up, Elsie! :>
Mmm I can almost smell the musty quality of your records. I’m happy to hear people our age (20s) appreciate vinyls. π
Man I have gotten like 10 more followers from this post! THANK YOU, Elsie!
You should come shop in our attic. My husband and I have about 1000 albums from the 60’s 70’s and early 80’s. And we have everything. And yes they were new when we bought them. To bad we are so far away in Savannah, GA.
such wonderful choices Elsie! i especially am keen about the fridge and went over to see the how-to’s, incredible! thanks so much for sharing these.
Wow thanks for these links, I specially loved the one about vinyl records, because one of my new adventures for 2011 is starting a vinyl collection π

Hi elsie!
I am new to starting my blog and was wondering whether you think Things I Love posts are a good way to start? π

Nowadays, vintage materials were kinda rare and to think that you did some little creativity in it makes it more fabulous than ever.
Sunglasses convey a huge quotient of style in your whole personality that is certainly something one can’t manage without, but given that a person believes in updating itself down to the buzz goes.
Greetings from Los angeles! I’m bored at work so I decided to check out your site on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the knowledge you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how quick your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, superb site!
