Weekday Weekend Launch Party in Nashville!

Hello friends!!! Our cookbook, WEEKDAY WEEKEND, will have its release day this Tuesday, November 7th! To celebrate, Emma and I will be hosting a meet + greet event at Lemon Laine in Nashville, Tennessee from 6-8 p.m.

We will have cookbooks for sale at the event as well as treats provided by Franklin Juice, Five Daughters Bakery and Leeuw Bake Shop … also champagne!

Come and say hi, get a book signed (these will make awesome holiday gifts!), snap some silly selfies with us and have some delicious treats!

Aloha Ambrosia sample from Leahlani Skincare (buy full size for – $52)
Our super sweet friends at Leahlani sent us samples of their Aloha Ambrosia all the way from Hawaii. I really love this elixir because it’s high performing (incredibly moisturizing and can be used under makeup as a primer) and it smells divine thanks to the inclusion of jasmine oil. Did you know jasmine stimulates serotonin release? Pretty amazing. Anyway, we are major Leahlani fans and they’ll be in an upcoming box. Keep your eyes peeled because you really don’t want to miss out on that one!

We had to include some of our bestselling Daisy Sunnies! People are constantly asking us if they can pull these off. YES. You totally can! We have never seen anyone that doesn’t look adorable in these and we really wanted to share them with our party guests.

Not only is this chocolate bar super delicious, but it’s also close to our hearts! This is our collaboration bar with Askinosie Chocolate, our mentor Shawn’s company. He’s also releasing a book this month called Meaningful Work, which we would highly recommend to anyone that’s looking to either find their passion or put theirs to work through entrepreneurship.

Baobab Lip Balm from Nyakio (value $22)
As soon as this balm’s rich formula hits your lips, you know it’s going to do some serious work, but it somehow maintains a lightweight texture and is not sticky. I also really like that it isn’t flavored or scented. It’s a great overnight treatment or an added boost of hydration during the colder months.

Coconut & Papaya Body Wash from Nubian Heritage (value $10)
This is the body wash scent-twin to the hand cream that was featured in the November box! It can be tough to find a clean/non-toxic body wash because of artificial fragrance, but Nubian Heritage seriously impresses us with the power of this totally natural scent blend that is so fruity and long lasting.

We wanted some local wellness fun in our goodie bags, and we’re so happy to include ILY. Epsom Salt from The Epsom Salt Council
Epsom Salt is a really incredible clean ingredient and home remedy, so we were really excited to have these adorable cartons from the Epsom Salt Council to put in the goodie bags! There are seemingly endless uses for Epsom salt, so they’ve conveniently designed this carton as a teaching tool. My forever favorite is adding to a warm bath to relieve tired or sore muscles!

100% Tamanu Oil & Organic Shea Butter Extra Dry Skin Body Lotion from Shea Moisture (value $12)
The response to the Shea Moisture Facial Oil in October’s Beauty Box was so awesome, Shea Moisture sent us this ultra hydrating body lotion to include in our gift bags. With watermelon seed oil and aloe leaf extract, this lotion is really soothing and of course, the fragrance is an essential oil blend. This is another natural product with a really long lasting scent, for anyone that is having a hard time leaving their conventional scented lotions behind.
