i just read through all the comments from yesterday and took down lots of notes and cool ideas for future posts…. thank you for taking the time to make suggestions and for all the kind words. i know i have said this before, but i really believe i have the sweetest group of blog readers. it's a blessing. 🙂
here are a few things that i want to answer/mention right away…
*the owl on my dresser from a recent post was actually a thrift store find and a gift to my sister from a friend…. wish i could give you a link, but it's one of a kind, i guess… 🙂
*the red hair dye is just home stuff… (Loreal Colour Rays). It's permanent, but it fades in a few weeks…

I’m soooo ready for fall too. And lately I’ve been scrapbooking and such in our living room even though i just set up my craft space in the laundry room. it’s a mess right now because of it! i just don’t like being back there by myself sometimes!

My living room always rotates as my scrap room too. I have my own office but for some reason like once a month I drag everything out to the living room and make a mess in there! Maybe it’s just good to create somewhere else.

What a fabulous way to display your buttons! Mine are in an ugly ole box! I’m going to go find be a pretty glass jar!!!
I desperately need to know two things.
1) Where do you and all your funky friends find all the buttons? surely you don’t buy them at scrapbooking stores, they cost a fortune for just a few there. I’m coveting buttons these days.
2) Where in Toronto can I find your Betty line? I’m dying to do a layout with it. I know I can order online but I want to see it all and pick it out….unless you still offer it in a kit?

girl, i love putting nuts and berries and all that jazz together. some faves of mine you may want to try. cranberries, pumpkin seeds, almonds, flax seeds, dried apples, pinapple, papaya, mango, sunflower seeds. i LOVE seeing that stuff come together!
I love the picture of the buttons!!! I am going to have to do that! I love buttons I find myself going to garage sales just to find buttons… it is amazing what people get rid of 🙂 SO anyway i have tons of them so I think I am going to go get a pitcher from the store and throw my many containers of buttons in it!
