i thought i should pop in and say hello. 🙂 in the morning emma, caleb & i are taking Jeremy to KC to drop him off at the airport. em and i packed our tote with lots of felt & things to make for the drive. i'm excited… much more than usual when i have to drive alone! 😀 so, i LOVE having emma and caleb here. we've been having so much fun working crazy hours preparing for the grand opening. i don't know how i am going to say goodbye to them on sunday…. 🙁 oh… and the reason we are dropping Jeremy off at the airport is that he is going to New Orleans to rehearse with Mute Math. He is going to play with them on the the Tonight Show on the 15th!! 😀 so excited for him! one happy photo and i am off to bed….

I too wish you were coming to New Orleans with Jeremy. I only live an hour from there. My Mom lives on the Westbank. We go all the time. I love New Orleans. Yesterday was the 1st day of Carnival and Mardi Gras will be kicking off. Exciting.
I’m so happy for Jeremy and I will be tuning in to Leno to watch him and Mute Math. That is great news.

I TiVo’ed the tonight show!
My MIL actually DID have a fawn as a pet when my hubby was little. My FIL accidentally killed Bambi’s mother while farming and so they felt responsible for the little deer. They kept it in their kitchen until it was old enough to be outside. My SIL says she remembers feeding it with a bottle… she developed a nasty allergy to deer because of it though (realized only after visiting an elk farm as an adult). Crazy. Anyway, I noticed your affinity for fawns and thought you may enjoy that little story. 🙂 It is not very commonplace… imagine having an adult deer hoofin’ around your apartment…
