Hey, friends! Back in the olden days I used to write a column called “10 Things I Love Sunday” every single week. Well, I’ve decided to bring it back! The new twist I want to put on this feature is that each time I’ll feature a different brand or website and show you 10 things I love from that source! This week I chose Moorea Seal!
1. These sandals. Whatta steal! They are so cute too. I can see wearing them with maxi skirts and cut off jeans.
2. Buying this stamp for the back of my Happy Mail letters. Couldn’t be more perfect!
3. Obviously the cutest card ever.
4. Love this graph purse. It’s so cute. I’m really feeling this light brown leather lately!
5. A stack of gold bracelets is my favorite accessory. Love this bond bangle.
6. These earrings have been on my wish list for way too long. Love the super simple style.
7. This tumbler is great. I keep thinking it’d be perfect to hold toothbrushes, although that’s obviously not what it’s made for. Really like the gold detail.
8. OMG–the perfect card for my pregnant friends!
9. These scissors are so legit… hmm… now I’m dreaming about my next office.
10. I already own this ring, and I wear it all the time. I love dainty gold rings!

I don’t really see the twist in this feature – all I see is one giant avertisement for an online store. I’ve been a fan of your blog for quite some time, but am getting more and more annoyed by the content that doesn’t seem to be genuine, but hidden marketing. I get that this blog is your job and you’re making money off of it, but to my subjective taste, this is taking it too far.

This post is genuine. I love this shop (it’s owned by a close friend of mine) and I shop there often with my own money. 🙂

Oh I remember the good old 10 things I love sundays! I think I’ve been reading ABM since I was 17 and I still love it now, 6 years later! Thank you for a bringing such beauty to my life and I truly think you guys make the internet a better place 😉

I think it’s because you affiliate linked everything. If it is a shop owned by your friend and you want to promote that, then why affiliate link it? Are you not making money when people click on those links? It just seems weird.

I always love how genuinely you respond to comments that some people would blow off or be offended by. Since you do seem to be interested in this kind of feedback, I’ll add that while I did glance at this post and down to the comments, I would have given it more attention if this info (about the post being genuine and you just sharing things you love) were in the text of the post. I very often just gloss over product roundups — not just here, but everywhere– unless it’s clear that the writer has personally used them or there’s some other hook.
Now that I know it’s not a sponsored post, I’m scrolling back up to look again!
