3 Natural Products I Am Loving Vol. 7

3 Natural Products I Am Loving (click through for links)Hi, everyone! I’m taking over Elsie’s favorite natural products series this week since she is busy finishing up a new eCourse she’s been working on. Trying to go a less toxic route over the past year can be challenging at times, so it’s always exciting to share and talk about new products I love whenever I find them!

3 Natural Products I Am Loving (click through for links)It’s been a little challenging to find good nail polishes that I like (especially in colors that I like). So I was thrilled when I discovered this Aila 8-free nail polish line. The polish feels thick when applied (in a good way), and you can add the Better Than Gel topcoat for an amazingly gel-like finish and feel. I love this mauvey Petunia shade that adds a little bit of color but is still subtle enough to act as a neutral. I’m hooked!

3 Natural Products I Am Loving (click through for links)I’m a little bit obsessed with face washes. There’s nothing that feels quite as good as a clean face at the end of a long day, and this enzyme cleansing oil and makeup remover is a great way to wash away the daily grime. It’s a very light feeling cleanser, and it’s the first time I’ve tried using a clay cleansing sponge before, so that’s been kind of a fun experience! The sponge is a lot gentler than I imagined (it’s kind of a hard material until you get it wet), but it really helps to remove all the makeup. You can get 3 months of use out of one sponge. I do like to take off my eye makeup with coconut oil first, but this is great for the rest of the face.

3 Natural Products I Am Loving (click through for links)Savannah told you guys about Bite Beauty in her post about her natural lipstick favorites, and this Cotton Candy color is the perfect bright photo shoot pink! I tend to wear lighter colors most of the time, but it’s always a good idea to have a bright shade on hand for a punchy photo or just as a mood pick-me-up if you know what I mean. The cool thing about Bite is that their ingredients are all food grade, so you could actually eat the lipstick (which is good because you kind of do anyway as it wears off, right?), and you can get it at Sephora. So you can try all the shades and find your favorite like I did.

3 Natural Products I Am Loving (click through for links)I have to admit that I do kind of love having that little pink heart sponge always hanging up in my bathroom now – so cute! I personally love reading product roundups like these, and I hope you guys have found a few new items that you’d like to try as well! What natural products have you been into lately? xo. Laura

  • For me Glossier is my go to brand for lipsticks. I wish they had more shades, but I use Like and Cake on a daily basis for work, and Crush for the weekends. They are mate, which I love, and last really long!

  • I love Bite beauty but made the mistake of apparently buying the one product that sucks! I bought the Cashmere Lip Creme and had to return it twice because the interior container had cracked and leaked lipgloss all over the inside, then dried out inside the actual tube. Kind of a bummer when you pay so much for it and colored my opinion of the company a bit.

I will definitely go back and try some of their other products though because people seem to love them! I am a hopeless Sephora addict and really enjoy that there are so many more natural products available there now.

  • I love that nail polish color and have never heard of that brand so thanks for sharing. I’d love to see that lipstick on you! And the face sponge, hmmm I’ve never thought of using one. I use makeup wipes and a facial cleanser but I use my hands. Maybe it’s time for a new approach…? Lol

  • Konjac sponges are awesome sauce! I was skeptical at first and then amazed at the exfoliation power and how soft and gentle it was.

I sanitize the sponges each week by placing it into a tall mug and pouring really warm (not quite boiling) water and letting it chill in there a few minutes. I have a system going where I use a new one as a facial exfoliator for 2 months and then retire it to a body exfoliator for 2 months and toss. 🙂

  • This is my favorite segment!! I’m going to invest in One Love products soon. I’m slooowly transitioning into natural products but it’s so hard because it’s so expensive. But this post I LOVE!!

  • I’ve never heard of a clay cleaning sponge, but I absolutely want to try one now! I have had good luck with making my own products using things like oils and shea and cocoa butters, but need to start switching over my cosmetics, too. Love this post!

  • Hey,
You should check out squarehue, vegan nail/7 free polish. They also contribute some of their funds to fight human trafficking. great quality nail polish!

  • I just started using Go-To skincare after receiving it for my birthday and it is awesome! It’s so nice to read the ingredients list and understand what is actually in the product. Also feels amazing on my skin

  • I’m so glad you shared that lipstick because I always love your lip colors and wanted a natural one! I’d love to see that particular one on you. I just bought a similar shade from Root Beauty (great affordable natural makeup) but it’s more of a color balm.
I never got around to commenting on your mascara post, but one of the few I am comfortable using is Real Purity, from Amazon, which is basically like homemade ingredients-wise but looks lovely. I just purchased a Miessence mascara which just came out (I’m a rep) and hear it’s better than the Real Purity so I can’t wait to try it. That one is Australian certified organic, which is even higher than the USDA.

  • I’ll have to try the bite one! Edible?! Awesome. Have u tried Batty’s Bath products out of Ontario? Great for targeted skin care!

  • This is so helpful! I love the natural posts.

These days I do not have as much time as I use to browse around and try new natural products so this have been very great and I’ve try lots of the products you posted.

    Thank you!

  • Honestly, I think this series is my favorite that you ladies have done on the blog! I’ve found SO many good products that I love from them.

  • I really love this series and urge you guys to look into clothing next. Not the toxicity of your clothing, but the negative impact of “fast fashion”, like H&M, Zara, and Forever 21.

  • Hi! I really love this series! Any chance you could do a post about natural sun-screens? Pretty please and thank you!!!
