Last weekend we traveled to Nashville for our first book signing. Of course, we visited as many local spots as we could while we were in town and even squeezed in a session for Jeremy too. Thank you so much for all your recommendations! As always, we only wish we had more time.
Per your requests, here's a list of Nashville spots we LOVED: Loveless Cafe, Burger Up, Barista Parlor, Marché, Las Paletas, Jenis and Crema. The best foodie thing I had on the trip was a Cafe "Tom Kai" from Crema. It was so weird and amazing. (Can't wait to try more spots next time!)
Our book signing was the best! It was such a great experience!! We met so many awesome people. We made our own denim photobooth and took photos and chatted with blog readers all afternoon. We were sad, but also SUPER honored, that our book sold out in the first hour of the event. Geez- you guys…. we always love meeting you. I wish we could do stuff like that all the time! Hopefully we will do more in the future. 😀
Sadly, we didn't take any photos (except these iPhone photos) at the event, but there is a bunch of peeks in the video at the end of this post!
We got to meet up with Coury from Fancy Treehouse for coffee and baby-fever-time i mean… um… breakfast. Goldie is the sweetest little angel and our guys got to talk about music. 🙂
Nashville was kind to my chocolate addiction. Always love trying new stuff!

We enjoyed visiting our friend Annie Williams' leather studio. It was incredibly inspiring! We're huge fans of her work.

Some of my best friends and I are planning a reunion trip to Nashville over New Year’s (it’s our annual tradition!), but we’re not sure where to stay. I know when you guys went to Austin, you featured some swanky hotels there. Any advice on where to stay in Nashville? We’re trying to avoid the whole Days Inn/Econo-lodge vibe…ya know?
