We’re so excited to announce that A Color Story 2.0 is now available for iOS users! Not only did the app get a makeover, we also added some MAJOR changes based on suggestions from you.
Grid Planning!
One of the major changes we made in the app was adding grid planning! This will allow you to design, preview, and plan your Instagram feed. No more uploading and deleting to check and see if the photo fits your feed!
Batch Editing!
This is something that we have had a lot of people suggest, and we’re finally able to deliver! Batch edit multiple photos and videos at once with your favorite filters and effects to keep a consistent look. Once you found the look you’re going for, you can add them straight to the grid.
Instagram scheduling!
Once your photo or video is edited and ready to be published, A Color Story will remind you when it’s time to post. You can write your caption inside of the app, then A Color Story will copy your caption and bring you straight to Instagram to post. Easy as that!
We’d also like to mention that the app now supports iPhone X users! If you haven’t had the chance, be sure to update the app inside of the App Store. After you play around with the new features, it would mean SO much for you to leave us a review!
A Color Story 2.0 for Android is still in the works, so stay tuned for an update—it’s coming!

I’ve been looking for a good Instagram planning app forever! This combined with your filters makes this so awesome!
One question. Is there a way to save hashtags that you use often? That way you don’t have to type them out with each post.
I usually save mine in my Notes so I can copy and paste:)

I’m getting a bug in the grid view and when accessing the albums. I have the middle collum all empty. I’m not missing the preview of any image but the images are only presented in the left and right column. I’m using an ipad.

I’m not figuring how to get the 2.0. I have the old version and I can’t find 2.0 in the app store. Is it supposed to update automatically on your phone? Or is it a new app?

Looking forward to playing around with this 2.0 version. So much goodness here! I’m most excited for this batch editing and playing around with the grid. I use a separate app to plan out my feed, but if I can consolidate that would be amazing!

What about the A Beatiful Mess photo editing app? That was the last thing I remmber you guys had lol. So A color story is your more updated photo editing app and no more ABM updating?
What!! Android!! I feel so silly. I know for a long time you didn’t have A Color Story for Android, and I recently switched from Apple to Android and was assuming it still wasn’t available. I guess I missed the announcement because it didn’t pertain to me at that moment! But it was seriously one of the things I was most worried about, switching over – giving up A Color Story! Glad I can start using it again, even if I feel ridiculous ????
Love this! Grid planning will be the best addition to this app. I’ve been strategizing the best ways to marry phone editing with desktop and Lightroom. Thank you for making great solutions!!!

This update is EVERYthing! Absolute game-changer.
I hope in the future that two different phones can schedule/plan an IG feed together, on one IG account. My sister and I are working to run an account together (long-distance) and I’d love if we could share/update the grid together, while separated!
