Happy Casual Friday! Well, here we take a moment to show you what's been going on behind the scenes for the past few weeks. We've certainly had a crazy and exciting past two (three?) weeks! Our new app Party Party was released and made the long and arduous journey to becoming the number ONE paid app in the iTunes store! We've had a lot of fun making our own little Party Parties (stop motion videos), and we also love browsing through all of YOUR #partypartyapp tagged photos and videos. You guys are getting seriously creative with your stop motions—you're making us look bad. 😉
Another exciting thing that happened: we received the first real copies of Elsie + Emma's new book, A Beautiful Mess Happy Handmade Home! I (Sarah) personally had nothing to do with this book, so it was really exciting to see it for the first time, and to see all of their hard work and heart poured into this one is truly inspiring. I've already got a few of the projects from the book on my to-do list, no kidding! Have you looked it up on Amazon? You can pre-order it here. Fun fact about Emma: she is a master photobomber, and she nails it every single time!

On Sundays I post a little ‘This Week I…’ with a few of the not necessarily art/craft things I’ve been up to. I think it’s good for your readers to see a bit more of your life than just the things you’ve been making.

You’re not late-the book isn’t released to the public until the end of this month. Usually they will send a copy to the authors a little ahead of time so we get to preview it. 🙂 It’s an exciting moment because it feels kind of like crossing a finish line, if that makes any sense at all.

Is Party Party app going to be available on IPads/in the UK? I was so looking forward to this app when it was first announced and keep checking the app store daily and nothing. Having by 30th bday party soon and wanted to do a photo booth but without your app it just not going to be this good.
Anyway-love your blog-you must be the most creative people in the world guys!
Party Party is available in the UK, yes!
We are not doing an iPad version this time because we didn’t receive enough iPad downloads on our last app to justify the cost. Maybe next time. 🙂
