Scrapbook 1Scrapbook 2Scrapbook 3Scrapbook 4This book documents the small things that I love about my new relationship. I loved working with the simple concept and it was fun to use my typewriter again! xo, elsie

  • THESE ARE AWESOME! how fun to be on your design team and make awesome books using your scrapbooking lines! SWEET! If you ever have an opening sign me up :). Your new painting is super cute too! have an amazing late night, I can’t wait for your update!

  • I love all these works of art. Beautiful and i love the monkey tags! Too Cute!!

  • Wow, you certainly did deliver lots of inspiration tonight!! THANK YOU! Everything looks fabulous! How do you possibly pick a favorite album? I like them all and your crafties too!!

  • I love seeing new scrapbook projects from you!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Makes me so happy ๐Ÿ™‚

I need to order some Forrest, badly! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I am not new to your blog but new to the comment box. I love, love everything that you have been doing. it makes my day to come to your blog and see a new amazing post ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I love the little painting so much, it makes me smile!

Also, I have the same pink plates ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Do you have any spare woodgrain contact paper?? ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for sharing your inspirations, I really love it when you post, since I check every day (multiple times a day). ๐Ÿ™‚

those monkeys are super cute.. can’t wait to see all the stuff related to them in your shop.

Is Mr. Larson on the web anywhere besides myspace? I really avoid myspace because it messes with my computer, gives me trouble.

And oooh, tomorrow is an EMBROIDERY PREVIEW! *squee!*

((Again, can you at least tell me me how many new ones you are guessing you’ll be putting out? Last time was 12 for $33 (including shipping).. like I said in a previous comment, I want to make sure I have the money put aside to get them ALL. :)))

As always, lots of love to you Ms. Elsie.

  • idea for late summer: riding bike until 5 in the morning!

making a bed on an enclosed porch (with screens) and sleeping to the cricket sounds

making salad with greens, nuts, fruit, and rich cheeses all together, experimenting with combos (currants, cherries, or mangos; pecans, walnuts, pistachios, goat cheese with honey, gouda, feta, bleu …) and trying strange dressing combos like curried mango, basil and blueberry… i can’t get enough.

  • I was a little surprised by your mini-album; itโ€™s so minimalist and classic (but itโ€™s a positive surprise!). The album is not heavy at all and โ€“ I think โ€“ shows your real love to Jeremy: simple and beautiful (ok ok, itโ€™s only my opinion๏Š).

Love the albums of Suzy and Rachel too!

I find you today very โ€œfall seasonโ€. I loved the season in Poland (my wonderful country where I was born and where I grew up) with a sun, a lot of colours, but I hate it here in France with a lot of wind, rain and grey weather, pff. Even in summer it rains often in Nantes!

Some more ideas for late summer (others than watching TV or spending a time with your boyfriend in a bed ;)) ): watching TV with your boyfriend in a bed (Iโ€™m kidding! but itโ€™s possible โ€ฆ ;))), changing your interior design, write a nice small book for children with your drawings inside (I think Iโ€™ll try it!), lying on the grass and watching the night sky, the stars (itโ€™s very relaxing), making plans for the future (maybe itโ€™s a little โ€œshe-wants-to-be-perfectโ€, but I like making it, ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

  • you, my friend, have given me a totally fresh perspective on my relationship with my husband (of 17 years) when you started dating Jeremy…it reminded me of when my hubby and I began dating! :)so, thank you for sharing your love and inspiration with us. you never know who you’ll touch! ๐Ÿ˜‰ you’ve been through a lot and I pray God will continue to bless you and Jeremy and that you will continue to make “magic” together for many years to come! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • LOVELY!

I think Forrest is my favourite although I haven’t seen it IRL yet! As soon as it arrives in Sweden I will buy the lot…

All the love, Elsie collections I’ve bought so far has been nothing short of amazing. It’s almost impossible to choose a favourite.. If I HAVE to I’d say Zoe!

Again Elsie, thank you so much for this blog. I love it in so many ways.. I get really inspired by your love for art and for being an artist. Your positive energy is addictive! I feel lucky to be able to get a glimpse into the world of someone I really admire. Thank you!

  • dressing combo idea per Kathryn’s post. I have a pomegranite blueberry vinegrette dressing that is SO good. There is still time to get in some berry picking–if you don’t mind bugs. It’s so relaxing and cathartic. And then you have antioxidants in plump&juicy, round, blue form. Plus lots of baking fun.

umm…and then since you live in Springtown, there is always Founders Park. Weekend movies. Although there are no foreign films playing.

  • Oh what an adorbale little scrapbook you made. I love that you used black paper. All the others are adorable too. I especially like the chipboard frams and the tree. Adorable! You Mr. Larson is such a sweet guy to punch out all of those monkey tags for you. I want one too, or three or four. Greedy aren’t I? LOL

Late summer fun for me is a birthday party for my granddaughter, she will be 9 this year and we are going to Chuck E Cheese. Hee Hee

    Enjoy your weekend.

  • The scrapbooking that you and all your friends do is truly amazing! I just wish that I had scrapbooking skills…I mostly stick to fabric and yarn though. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for the fun inspiration!

  • love all your shares and the dt girls’ too ๐Ÿ™‚

*sigh*… summer? we are like -2degrees celcius and expecting snow tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜‰

    happy weekend ahead els ๐Ÿ™‚

    lus x

  • I Love all the mini albums, they all so CUTE! I always love visiting your blog, it’s so full of colour and life! Enjoy your day!!

  • I am so excited to see more scrapbooking from you! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m on a kick right now, and your work is always so inspiring. As is the work of your design team!! LOVE Amber’s album.

Where is your collection sold, Elsie?

Thanks for sharing all your beautiful work <3

  • Hi Elsie!

I love about anything you come up with…you’re SO VERY inspirational to me!

As for late summer activities, does Springfield do a “movie in the park” night? Our town had its first last friday, and it was WONDERFUL…like sitting at the drive in sans the car! Might be a fun activity for you and MR. Larson. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Blessings and prayers for all you put your hands to!

  • I love your new painting! Fall is my favorite time of year as well! Please have that beautiful painting available in a print-I have to have one!

  • So lovely too see all your ideas! I feel inspired (although a little short on time…children are all on school holiday!)

    Late summer things to do:

sit in the garden with a drink and listen to the sounds

light a fire (outside) and have hot chocolate and marshmallows

lie in a hammock and look at the stars

    go for a walk

  • Hey Elsie! ๐Ÿ™‚ I posted a pic of what I’m sending you on my blog…it’ll be next week before I get it in the mail, so come see! ๐Ÿ™‚
