I have been spending a lot of extra time on Etsy recently since we are moving soon. I’ve been saving lots of pretty things in hopes of including them in future room projects, and I have been pretty blown away by the selection of removable wallpaper! I love using peel and stick because it saves on the expense of installation when you DIY, and it’s easy to swap out when the time comes to redecorate or move.
Here are a few of my favorite patterns I’ve saved on Etsy recently! Oh, and I am considering using peel and stick in our dining room and laundry, so I’d love to hear which patterns you love the most!
(By the way, the paper pictured above is from Chasing Paper and it’s what I used in Marigold’s nursery.)
1. Pink Mudcloth
This is so pretty and cool. I can see it being used in all kinds of rooms!
2. Pink Cream Terrazzo
I have suddenly developed quite a big terrazzo crush and I’m really liking this pattern.
3. Hand-Painted Watercolor
This is so classic and very appealing to me! My favorite wallpaper patterns are typically soft and neutral.
4. Clementine
This makes me so happy because I had a DIY version of this wall in our first kitchen and I loved it SO much. I will always have a soft spot for a clementine wall.
5. Flamingo Flock
Obviously love this!
6. City Plan
This is FUN.
7. Muse Mustard
This is cute. It’s funky, but the color scheme keeps it a little more neutral. I love mustard.
8. Skylight
This is so gorgeous—maybe for a nursery.
9. Stone Lastriko
Pretty!
10. Vintage Peony
This is right up my alley. Love a large, neutral floral.

I’m partial to the mud cloth, but in blue. Most of these patterns could be painted by hand. Cheaper, and you’d get exactly the colors you want. The exception is the flamingos. That is amazing and the perfect pattern for removable wallpaper because I imagine that, after thoroughly loving it, you would want to replace it fairly soon.
The pink brush and hand painted watercolor are my favorite!
I’m looking to use removable wall paper for the first time, but was wondering if you had any problems taking it down afterwards? Also, what’s the longest you’ve had removable wall paper up before removing it?
To be honest- yes I have.
If you do a test swatch before you do the whole room you can get an idea for how easy it is to remove. SO much depends on your walls and then on the product. I’ve had REAL wallpaper that came off with zero damage, but I’ve also had a few removable wallpaper and tile that tore up my walls.
So always do a test- especially if you are renting!
I wanted to try wallpaper for the first time, but after some basic calculations it looks like I can’t even afford to do a feature wall in my bedroom! I’m not sure if this is normal, or if I’m just bad at math. As someone who has worked with wallpaper a lot what kind of budget do you usually allot yourself to wallpaper a room?

I painted my first kitchen a color called “clementine” – it was fantastic and I miss it so. I, too, am partial, to those little citrus guys. 🙂
I already had the flaming one picked out for my hall.
Do you know if any of these can be applied to textured walls?
Flavor Paper makes a removable wall paper that goes up with water (The glue is on the paper. It’s called EZ Papes.) and it comes down with water. It won’t damage the walls. Disclaimer, I totally work for Flavor Paper but I’m also just a blog reader. I thought this info might be useful/helpful/fun.
Hi Elsie. This might sound like a really dumb question but can you put removable wallpaper over glass?
I have a glass splash back in my kitchen & Ive hated the colour since day one. I’m not confident enough to remove it & put up tiles myself, which is ideally what I’d like to do, so thought maybe something like this might be an easy fix?
