love these photos! this is my favorite set of the three, the pops of bright color just highlight you both and everything looks magical and romantic. so sweet!
The pop of color is my favorite aspect of these photos as well! I found myself glancing back at the colored photos so much more than the black and white because of that reason!

I adore how natural and genuine these are. The poses are perfect because they are attractive without looking “posed”, if you know what I mean. 🙂 The lighting and framing, too! And not to mention the beautiful people … gosh.
And I agree, that pop of color is gorgeous! Reminds me of the photoshoot I did with my sis a few weeks ago … I wore hot colors (bright orange and yellow) and she wore bright cooler colors (teal, turquoise, and a tiny bit of lime.) Looked great against all the snow!

I think my favorite session would have to be the one in bed. It had a bit of a John & Yoko feel to it. So cozy and lovely. (I love all of the pictures from all of the sessions, by the way – they’re just beautiful.) But the third black and white one in this – Heavens! It’s perfect.

I have a couple of engagement shoots coming up and have been looking for inspiration. This is really beautiful work. I like how the colors pop with your snowy background. These pictures have such a cinematic feel to them. I have had trouble in the past directing couples and getting them comfortable in front of the camera. Every single one of these shots looks completely candid and genuine. Really in love with this series.
