Love them! I wore a vintage dress to our wedding reception that Mallory altered for me (the top half didn't fit me originally). I decided to wear a different dress for two reasons. 1.) It's my wedding day, so I get to wear as many pretty dresses as I want. 2.) I could not have danced my heart out in my wedding gown. I think at one point I called the plan a "costume change" in front of my father-in-law, and he chuckled.

My sister gave us a heartwarming toast. Trey's best man, Aaron, made his toast into a song (via the theme from Fresh Prince of Bel Air). We danced with our parents to Cat Steven's "Morning has Broken". Our first dance was to Bright Eyes' "This is the First Day of My Life". We had TONS of beautifully made appetizers. I will for sure be sharing lots of the recipes with you all in the coming months. Our dessert table included: red velvet cupcakes (our favorite flavor), edible gold fruit, gold chocolate rocks, diamond shaped sugar cookies and a few other gold candies/treats. My inspiration was King Midas. Obvs. We also had ice cream served from Elle's Patisserie. They even created a special flavor for usβ€”cream soda! As party favors we had bags of gourmet popcorn at everyone's seat (banana, chocolate and peanut butter flavor). We ate well, we danced and we celebrated with all our friends and family. Lots and lots and lots of fun. I LOVE this last photo of me and my siblings. They are my best friends.
