Fashion Mixology: 8 Outfits from 8 Pieces

FASHION MIXOLOGYHi there! Today we're excited to bring you a brand new Fashion Mixology. If you haven't read our mixology posts before, the concept is simply this- We take 8 pieces of clothing and make 8 different looks with those pieces. Shoes and accessories don't count. The goal of this feature is to inspire confidence and ideas to stretch your wardrobe farther! For today's edition we partnered up with Lulu's! They sent us some pretty pieces to mix and match. Enjoy!1-2Look One/ Some of my favorite looks this season are made up of denim and chambray. This comfy dress with tights is super easy to wear. Look Two/ For a super casual day I pair skinny jeans with sparkly shoes and a scarf with a cute top!3-4Look Three/ This lace tunic is super comfy and I love wearing it styled like this for a casual look. I also can't wait to wear it to the beach as a breezy cover-up! Look Four/ This striped skirt (see Look Eight) can also be worn as a dress! I love it paired with a skinny aqua belt and chunky necklace!5-6Look Five/ I love a simple outfit with one crazy detail. These platforms are crazy by any account because they make me six feet tall. I'm into nautical inspired looks! Look Six/ This lace dress (also seen in Look Seven) is fun when layered with this cute lilac top from Look Two!7-8Look Seven/ I adore this lace dress. It's really flattering with a low back. Layered necklaces and a felt hat help make this look special. Look Eight/ I adore this striped maxi skirt. Truth be told, I can't get enough stripes this year. My entire closet is becoming a huge black and white patterned collection! Because of my height (5'4) I never considered wearing long skirts until recently. I've learned that when paired with a comfy pair of heeled clogs maxi skirts can actually make me feel taller. I love any high waisted cut, so this is pretty perfect. We hope you've enjoyed this mixology! It's one of our favorite features to photograph together. Here are a few past Fashion Mixologys/ 1234 xoxo. elsie
