Hi friends! We just wanted to share a few snapshots that we captured with our phones while in Hawaii last week….
We had the most relaxing time! That little berry drink is tea and guava juice with fresh blueberries and strawberries. I'm definitely going to try to make it at home! A: We went the week before this last one for four days. Our book is due next week, but it was our first anniversary and we had been planning this trip for a year, so we made it work. 😀
I need to put my feet in that water shot at the end….it looks heavenly!! And your sunnies are just the cutest little thing to block the sun ever. Hope you are enjoying/relaxing a touch this weekend…and being super productive:)
I felt like saying that this blog makes me feel every time I read it as if it was a summer day, even if it’s snowing. It’s a breath of fresh air, sometimes I think this can’t be real, the fun, the beauty in EVERYTHING you do. Thank you for sharing 🙂
gorgeous! insta is so fun for moments like these when you maybe don’t want to carry around a bulky dslr. i’m fairly certain we took some photos in the exact same spots last summer on our honeymoon!

How awesomely conincidental! I spent last week in Maui and brought the same swimsuit along, but in blue velvet (I’m presuming it’s from ModCloth). Hawaii is such a beautiful place & the culture is so rich. I’m sure you two had a great time.
I loved following your Hawaii trip, it’s a big dream destination of mine and is currently what our holiday-fund savings are for. Guava and tea sounds delicious, gotta try!
I’ve been following your blog loyally for about a year now, and I really admire you and Emma for a lot of reasons, one of them being the way you consistently find a way to “make lemonade out of lemons”. This past week I went to Florida for my graduation trip, and got a second degree sunburn my first day. Needless to say, I was miserable. But instead of whining, I honestly thought this: “What would Elsie Larson do?” Henceforth I sat under a cute umbrella on the beach with a sweater and organic tea, and wrote stories about the people on the beach. So thank you, both, for being such an inspiration and source of encouragement, just in who you are.
