Garlands, trees, banners, tabletop decor, pillows, battery-operated candles—so many ways to decorate! We’ve been using a tree for 5-6 years now (similar to this one), but I also love this tree as well for something a little different (although I just can’t get over that blush tree in the roundup!). This garland would be really cute for a kid’s room decor (or this one) and Elsie uses these removable stars a lot to decorate with over the holidays (although here’s a garland option if you feel nervous putting anything on your walls). I’ve kind of been wanting one of these to project snowflakes onto our house this year (so much easier than hanging outdoor lights), so that would be fun to try. And I think this will be the year we do a hanging advent calendar as well! Hope you found lots of ways to feel festive in your home this year! xo. Laura

  • I love these decor items! I have Amazon Prime, so more and more, I’ve been buying things from Amazon. I buy my art supplies, yarn, etc from there. Ciao!

  • Thanks for the round up – can I ask, have you actually bought all the items that you have linked to? Its tricky to know what sort of quality some of the items are, and its difficult for me to return Amazon items in my country.

  • I remember my childhood décor in the 90s. My mother had a white tree with black and pink decorations and my father (parents separated when I was 2) had a pink tree (his girlfriend’s choice not his) with black and white decorations 😀 When I think about it now it’s a good childhood memory (and the pictures are so fun to look at) but I would never, ever have either one of these colours of tree in my house. I like the old fashioned green, realistic tree with already mounted lights. We bring it out of the box on December 1st, let the kids help us decorate it (fix it when they’re in bed ;p) and then it comes down on Dec. 31st. Our tree has two sets of lights (white and multicolour) and it’s a war between the kids and us (they like the colours, we prefer white) so it will change depending on who’s around the living room at any given time 😀

  • Oh my goodness! The entryway with the pink door is adorable. So pretty and welcoming, makes me wish the holidays were soon.
