Our Nashville Cookbook Signing Party

Last month, our cookbook, Weekday Weekend, launched! We’ve been working on this book for about two years, so it was a really exciting day for us and clearly an occasion worth celebrating. We hosted a cookbook signing party in Nashville, TN and we were beyond thrilled with how many of you showed up. Thank you! No matter if you were able to make it or not, I wanted to share some photos of the event because it seriously marked such a milestone for us (first cookbook!!!!) and it’s always such a huge treat when we get to meet some of you all in real life. We love you guys!

There were lots of conversations, laughs, hugs, selfies, babies held, and a few people brought their dogs too. Best night ever!!!! We had around 50 goodie bags that we gave out to the first folks who showed up to buy a book (or who brought their receipt if they preordered), and before we knew it all the bags were gone! The goodie bags were pretty epic, and you can see everything that was in them here.

We also had a really delicious assortment of treats and snacks …

We had sugar cookies from Leeuw Bakeshop, which are a favorite of ours for events because they are always so amazing and custom. Franklin Juice brought some seriously delicious mini acai smoothie bowls and juice samples, and we had mini cronuts from Five Daughters Bakery. Everyone in Nashville talks about these 100 layer donuts and they really are amazing. Of course we had to get a little boozy, and Speak Wines was the perfect choice for the evening—it was no surprise everyone commented on those cute labels all night.

I loved the mix of healthy and indulgent snacks as it speaks to what our cookbook is all about—a balanced, healthy life!

We were thrilled to host our party at Lemon Laine. If you are a Nashville native (or planning a trip soon, be sure to check them out—such a great spot for natural beauty and wellness goods, plus it’s ADORABLE inside. We also had some pretty amazing balloon assorts and a mini arch from Harlan Ruby. If you’re decorating for a party, be sure to check them out; they have the best balloons and they are SO nice. You will love them.

Thank you so, so much to everyone who helped out and to all our friends and fans who came to the party. I think before any event Elsie and I both get nervous that no one will show up. So thank you for saving us and coming out and celebrating with us! It really was such a special night to me, so thank you so much! And if you still haven’t checked out our cookbook, please do: WeekdayWeekend.
