Styling a Coffee Table: 3 Ways

Styling A Coffee Table (3 Ways) via A Beautiful MessHey, friends! Today I'm partnering with High Fashion Home using this gorgeous table to share three different takes on styling a coffee table. I'm not gonna lie—I geek out on this kind of stuff. I love changing up my space with books and candles, flowers and collections. So welcome to my world…let's geek out together, OK?

1. The "Everyday" Look

Styling A Coffee Table (3 Ways) via A Beautiful Mess For everyday life I don't want my coffee table to be super crowded. I want to keep it pretty simple to leave room for, you know—coffee! But that doesn't mean it has to be boring.

My favorite things to display are a couple of interesting books for guests to thumb through, my all-time favorite candle and my instant camera for random snapshots.

This is a good, easygoing style for everyday life. It's put together, but not too fussy.

2. The "Friend Coming Over" Look

Styling A Coffee Table (3 Ways) via A Beautiful Mess One time I went over to my friend's home for a quick meeting and she had prepared a French press and a little snack for us. It was such a simple little thing, but it left an impression on me. I remember thinking I wanted my house to feel exactly that inviting.

Well here's a cozy styling idea for just that occasion. When you have friend coming over to chat, create a little snack and some coffee or tea to share.

I like roses because they last for a week or more. And, side note—isn't that tea kettle adorable?

3. The "Party Time" Look

Styling A Coffee Table (3 Ways) via A Beautiful Mess I don't normally decorate too much for parties because most of our parties happen at night. So I typically focus my time and money on the food and drinks rather than decorations. With that said, a little giant confetti, some fun color-coordinated candy and some fresh flowers are a nice way to put some effort in, creating a party vibe in less than five minutes!
