I love rainy weekends! It's so relaxing, as if the weather is sending a message to slow down. After a super busy week it's nice to have a day off to hang out with Jeremy, run errands and plan an epic grocery list together. Grocery shopping is one of our favorite things to do together. Lovely pictures, I love going for a walk either out in the hills or just in the local park, baking and doing some crafting where I don’t have to concentrate, usually crochet while watching tv http://ahandfulofhope.blogspot.co.uk/
These are such lovely photos! I love running errands on the weekends. I love getting up early, and getting everything done before noon. Then I have time to do fun stuff like walk the dog, or go for a bike ride 🙂
It’s a rainy day for me too! I like playing piano on days like this, it kinda feels dramatic. But that’s just me. Love your pictures! (I’m also lusting after some red converse…)
My favorite unwind activities are similar to Helen’s 🙂 I love to bake cookies and go for a long walk in the conservation area near my house. It helps to be surrounded by nature and unplug for a bit.
I love grocery shopping too, especially during the evening when the stores quiet down. In the afternoon I like to go to coffee shops and relax with a fancy drink and my laptop. I just love the environment of coffee shops.
I really like the look of the assorted glass vases with the pretty white/yellow flowers. Spring is right around the corner 🙂

My hubby doesn’t shop with me, but he enjoys the final product! Do you know about the epicurious app? I did a post on it last week. A lot of your desserts are very decadent like the cupcakes, etc. They look delicious for sure but I can’t imagine you girls
eating everything you cook on here. lol.
I hope you don’t take that the wrong way. I kind of wonder the same thing about the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. She posts so many decadent dishes, I just can’t imagine that she and her family eats all of those.

I think it’s about to rain here in Michigan too; it was sunnier this morning, but it’s moving towards dark and ominous now. I tried to take a few product photos outside, but my remote’s not working, so instead I think I’m going to try Emma’s bagel recipe!
over here it was sunny and hot with few min. rain every hour (wow, this sounds like weather cast:P) but it was so lovely day, you could choose work or napping 🙂
It´s been raining in Madrid the whole week! That really has dampened my spirits a lot for two reasons — I love the sun and two we (my bf and I) travel around in a motorbike and it takes a lot of effort to stay dry while riding and then still look presentable underneath the layers of weather proof clothing!
Weather report says thought that it will be raining straight through Tuesday! The worst news of all, the temperatures are going to drop this week! I really can´t wait for no rain and warmer weather to come around.
after a crazy busy week nick and i like to head to a coffee shop a just relax. this weekend was especially fun because it was so rainy all day that by night the glow over the downtown strip was beautiful. we enjoyed some great conversation and book reading. we even flipped through a magazine to discover a hidden gem of an eatery we cant wait to try downtown for our next date!
I love going to the grocery store, cooking a big serving of dinner with plenty of leftovers for the rest of the week, and listening to podcasts while I tidy up the house.

Grocery shopping is also one of my favourites. We’re also pretty big brunch fans and if we can convince some friends to get out of bed and join us like today, even more so.

I love the rain! It’s my favourite weather. I recently just bought a rain poncho and rain boots but to my luck, my city just stopped its streak of rain for about two weeks! I hope it rains soon, haha.
That rain actually doesnt’t look so bad, even though I’m super excitet about all the sunshine we’ve had here in Gothenburg lately. Being creative, cooking good food and taking time to just me on my own helps me unwind. Last friday I got the time to be a little creative in our home, repainted our kitchen lamp bright red (http://harnite.blogg.se/2013/march/kokslampan-20.html), gave me lots of energy!
We love to go grocery shopping too! It is so much fun to pick out what we get to cook together.
If we are really lucky and have a Sunday afternoon off, we like to go lurking in open houses. We aren’t moving, but it is fun to see what other people do with design in their homes.
And in the nice weather soon, we will definitely be going hiking as much as we can! We are trying to complete the Bruce Trail (885km) in sections.

Cute weekend snaps! I love grocery shopping with my husband! It’s so fun to meal plan and do something simple together. Sundays are my only day off, so our usual routine is to go out to breakfast together (or cook something together), go to church, grocery shop and take a nice long afternoon nap!
Having a creative outlet helps me unwind. Blogging, photographing and crafting help me relax and recharge, I’m sure you could agree!
Ooo, I just love the flowers in the glass bottles. I’ve been collecting different glass bottles but they’re just sitting in the dishwasher, waiting for me to find something to do with them. And I think I just did 🙂
A mug of tea, and a good book or movie really helps me relax, especially on rainy saturdays
On the weekends, I have long breakfasts, listen to calm music and go out for walks. I do things I should have done a long time ago and watch scandinavian crime movies on television late at night.
This past weekend was especialy nice, since I had a lovely friend over. We walked throught the snow and ate cake.
Haha I thought I was one of the few that loved grocery shopping with the main squeeze. We plan out recipes we want to make over the weekend, then head out to the store for some fun perusing of food stuffs!

Oh what a great idea to have a plethora of flower vases! I have a wine obsession and always feel bad to throw away the bottles when they’re empty, because some bottles are really pretty. So I collect them until they get out of hand (like over ten empty bottles hogging cupboard space) and then just end up bulk-recycling them. But now I found a perfect use for them!
