for the past few weeks i've been working a little bit on revamping my loft.
i took a (too long) break from any home decor projects while i was working on opening the Red Velvet shop opening. it feels SO good to have a few *home* projects going again…..1this is one of the walls in my new dressing room. i am using it to display my favorite glasses & sunglasses on vintage wooden hangers (thanks, rach! )

23organized by color. you have no idea how happy this makes me.
4and a little peek at my dresses (also organized by color). i just need to find the perfect big rug! oh, and a curtain….

ok. i need to get back to work!
TO DO list for tonight & tomorrow:
-finish cleaning & organizing studio & take photos.
-finish instruction sheets for Italy classes.
-post RVA craft weekend class descriptions & photos.
-add a few new items to the RVA site.
-help Jeremy make a cute blog banner 🙂

  • I’d love to see more loft photos, too!! We also live in a loft, and it’s not a TON of space, and I never have any idea how to organize anything!

  • jealous!!! i want a dressing room. or even just a larger closet. i’ve recently taken over the larger closet in our master bedroom and i’ve kicked the husband out to the spare bedroom closet…hah.

  • I totally love it!! I love the sunglasses on the hangers and the super cute girl scout uniform! I wish I still had mine, I think my mom has the sash…I need to ask her 🙂

  • I’m a bit obsessive with my closet. Everything is organized by color, but it’s also organized by tanks, then short-sleeves, then long-sleeves. Pants are organized by the material and size. I feel like I can never find anything if it’s not organized this way.

    I’m happy I’m not the only one!!

  • Oh where oh where did you get the awesome glittered cat eyes?!? I want some. 🙂 I own black ones with rhinestones and have been wearing those babies for 10 years–durable!
