Brown Sugar Persimmon Simple Syrup, makes one jar

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 Persimmon, chopped

In a small size pot, combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer. As soon as the sugar has dissolved the syrup is technically ready, but let it simmer on low heat for 20 more minutes to infuse more fruit flavor. Strain fruit with a fine mesh strainer.
